When I Woke Up This Morning! (Unity)

Romans 12: 16 “Live in harmony with one another.

Once again, these are exciting times in America. When President Joe Biden decided to step down as president of the United States of America, it appears to be the beginning of a new era. We must not forget that this man was honest and doing everything in his power to secure democracy for the American people. It was obvious that his time as president was coming to an end. What we must not forget is his determination to do the right things and tried to live as a man of God.

When it was announced that President Biden had endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the nomination for the Democratic Party, some of us were skeptical and second guessed his decision. In the first twenty-four hours of her campaign, it felt as if a wave of positive energy flooded the nation. This woman came out with a voice of reason and truth. If you have been waiting and asking, “Where is God in all of this craziness in America?” You are now witnessing God at work. This is God’s orchestrated plan for a nation that has been plagued with lies, hatred, fear and immorality. There is a feeling that a derailed nation is once again ready to stand proudly on its democracy as we get back on the right track.

Now is the time for all male chauvinist to put aside their feelings and differences about a woman serving in a leadership role. Women have made tremendous strides in all areas of leadership and will continue to do so. If a person has the gifts to do a job, let’s forget about gender and race, and give them our full support.

There is no doubt that the American people have come to realize that rhetoric, lies, bullying, etc. have no place in American government. Now is the time for us to become a united front giving support to the best candidate for the presidency of the United States, Kamala Harris.

There are those who have already begun slandering Vice President Harris, but it will not work. Pray that God will cover her as she puts forth an effort to bring the American people together. Pray also for those who have fallen away from the will and word of God.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity. It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe.” It is time my brothers and sisters that we return to loving and caring for one another. I believe Vice President Kamala Harris has the intellect, integrity, intelligence, and common sense to bring all people together once again, regardless of race, color, creed, etc.

The words, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,” comes from the prophet Zechariah as an encouragement to Israel that the rebuilding of the temple would not depend on human strength, but on the power of the Spirit of God. It is suggested that we rely on God’s Spirit rather than our own abilities. The changes we need to turn things around in America will not be by our might or strength or power, but our reliance on God’s power.

As we go forward, may we embrace the words of Romans 12: 16-18: “Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud but enjoy the company of the lowly. Do not be conceited. Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live in peace with everyone.”

Now is the time for all God’s children to come together!

Just my thoughts!
