âAnd do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.â
â Romans 12:2 (NKJV)

In Psalm 51, King Davidâs prayer and plea for mercy was, âHave mercy on me, O. God, according to your steadfast love.â and âHave mercy upon me, O God, according to your lovingkindnessâ Psalm 51: 1, 8.

Romans 12:16 says, âLive in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of all positions.â

Proverbs 19:2 warns that âHe who makes haste with his feet misses his wayââ suggesting that shortcuts may lead to unnecessary mistakes.

We are encouraged in James 4:10 and 1 Peter 5:6, which says, âHumble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, so that at the proper time he may exalt you.â

Matthew 5:23-24 says, âSo if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift.â

John 20: 30-31, âThe disciples saw Jesus do many other miraculous signs in addition to the ones recorded in this book. But these are written so that you may continue to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing in Him you will have life by the power of His name.â

Matthew 6:19 says, âDo not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.â

When I woke up this morning, I received a reminder that today is Juneteenth, a federal holiday. Today is a day for us to celebrate, but

âTeach me the way I should go. Answer me quickly, O Lord; my spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me, or I shall be like those who go down to the pit. Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.â Psalm 143:7,8

I leave this passage of scripture to assist in coping with paranoia: âBe careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to Godâ (Philippians 4:6-7)

Here is the good news from 2 Corinthians 1:3-4: âPraise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.â

The Bible says, âHe is the way of life that keepeth instruction; but he that refuseth reproof erreth.â Proverbs 10:17

The Bible says that confidentiality is a mark of a trustworthy and faithful person. It warns against revealing secrets, especially those that can harm others or damage relationships. It also advises not to associate with a gossiper or slanderer, who spreads rumors and exposes secrets

âNeither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.â

Romans 2:11 tells us that âGod shows no partiality.â

All are invited to join us for a time of worship, food, games, music and more!
âTherefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous person is powerful and effective.â
